Rashaun was my service technician that came out to treat the interior and exterior of my home. He was patient while answering our questions and seemed very knowledgeable about his work. I felt a lot better after the service as he was able to put our minds at ease that the problem might not be as bad as we originally thought. I can’t speak on the effectiveness of the treatment as it was just completed but so far it has been a good experience working with this company. I will update my review in a few weeks to see how things go.

We’ve been regular customers for routine pest control, but our recent experience has left us extremely disappointed and concerned. During a standard service visit, the technician George Divitiae, checked our attic and within a minute, claimed we had a mice infestation. He told us there were at least two adult mice nesting in the attic of our 3-year-old home and strongly implied they had babies, based on the size and amount of droppings he supposedly found. He took obscure videos and even "showed" my husband what he was referencing. We are not skilled in what pest droppings look like and took his word for it. He went on to say the mice were crawling up the outside of our two-story home and nesting in the attic. His recommendation? A full attic clean-out, rodent exclusion, and complete insulation replacement—with quotes ranging from $9,500 to $12,000 depending on the insulation type. To say we were alarmed is an understatement, especially after being told that not addressing it could lead to mice getting into the walls and causing tens of thousands of dollars in future damage—not to mention it being unsafe for small kids. Thankfully, before spending a fortune, we got second and third opinions from two reputable, local pest control companies. BOTH companies did full inspections of our attics on two different days—and neither found any signs of mice at all. Not one dropping. Not one sign of infestation. Nothing. The original technician either grossly misdiagnosed the situation—or worse, deliberately used fear tactics to upsell an extremely costly, unnecessary service. Either way, this is unacceptable. We trusted this company with our home and our safety, and that trust was completely broken. We will be canceling our service and will not be recommending them to anyone. I strongly urge others to get second opinions before agreeing to any major work from this company—especially if it’s based on fear and pressure like we experienced.

Michael is the best technician to come to my home from Alta. He explains and answers my questions with patience and understanding and he is very knowledgeable. He respects my property, is professional and friendly.

Richard is always a great customer service and tech! Have had some issues with Alta company overall in the past but they seem to at least attempt I resolve them each time, have never had an issue with Richard as technician!
