AACo Animal Services includes a shelter for a variety of animals, most of which are available for adoption. There are also rabies clinics and other services for pet owners. The staff are very caring and seem very committed to their mission. We found everyone we spoke to, or dealt with, to be professional, helpful, and kind. We feel fortunate to have a facility like this available to county residents.

Went yesterday and got our first guinea pigs! It was such a nice experience from start to finish. The staff was so personable and helpful. You can also really tell they care about the animals which is a nice feeling. I’ll be recommending this facility to anyone who is looking to adopt. Thank you for our little baby piggies! 😊

I found this center thanks to PetFinder and went because they had a surplus of cats that needed homes. I found my baby Paccha (shelter name: Buffalo Wild Wings) and he is the BEST…and there were no fees!!! He had all his shots and was neutered prior to my visit. Everyone was super helpful and I have nothing bad to say at all. My only concern was that they were understaffed, though I’m unsure if that’s unusual or not. As for Paccha? PERFECT. He’s exactly who I was looking for. I’m so happy I took a chance and took the drive down! Please donate to this location!

If you are looking for a furever friend & cutest cuddly animals , PLEASE adopt here . My hubby & I went last July , & adopted two kitties . Male adult tuxedo boys . Best adoption choice we could have made . Was really grieving my Russian Blue , and was unsure if I was ready . Walking into the shelter area , I locked eyes instantly with Milo & I just KNEW . Love at first sight . And his brother Maxwell is also such a loverboy 😻 Shelter was clean , and animals were happy and well taken care of . Thank you Anne Arundel County ❤️❤️❤️

I have always had great success adopting from AACACC. Two dogs and 2 cats later. Most recently A cat. The volunteers are awesome and staff pleasant to deal with. I have also very successfully retrieved my pups after they went for a walk about one evening. I could not be happier.
