Service was for wasp nest removal. What I got was a guy with a long hit stick who left a pile of wasp nest on the ground for my kids and dogs. Yea it was sprayed to kill the wasps but not sure how safe that is for my dog to try and eat or kids to step on. Glad I was home to finish the clean up. Guess removal just means knock down. Very unhappy. Called customer service right away and they said they can’t come back to retreat unless I buy the annual package. I tried to explain that removal means they should be removing the nest and they didn’t finish the job.

I have been pleased in the past but today was very disappointing. We have always asked to treat the garage and backyard for spiders. We always have a lot this time of year. I was assured that a thorough job was done this afternoon only to come to three very large- impossible to miss- active webs. And most alarming is the bait box that was left open. It have photos from my technician, Daymon, showing three sides of the garage only and not the back where two of the large webs are. See attached photos that I just took. My expectation would be for a prompt return to rectify this.

Andre came by and took care of my yard and around my home. He even took care of the inside of my garage. I appreciate his kindness and work ethics. He asked about my concerns and completed the job with efficiency. Thank you Andre!

Excellent service. After their first visit no wasp not a single one. Today they listened to me and didn’t spray the insects I want around. They are diligent and respectful.

Update: I'm so confused. I don't even know what my service is for anymore. I thought it was for pest control, but he sprayed the back lawn?? What was the issue with the lawn?? Now I can tell you there are any hills or farms in the lawn but not where he was spraying there weren't. I would like a more thorough explanation of what is going on if that makes sense. I'm sitting up here thinking he's doing fertilizer. I could've provided him a spreader for that. The communication needs to be way better that's for sure. Service is what it is. I never get the inside of my home tended to with these guys. Not sure why. My ring doorbell is offline but there's still regular doorbells that they could use to inquire if I need home services which they do not take advantage of. I receive a text after services are completed. This time I mentioned some holes in the dirt where bugs have created a home and they fly into. Might bees or wasps. I got no response on of that tasted that or not. This is right by my back door. Also you guys last year or out hang bag treatments for wasps and things like that. This hasn't happened once this year.

I didn't know better after I bought my 1st house about door to door salesmen. I was told it was $199 for 6 months, what the deceptive salesman didn't tell me was that it was $199 per treatment. After a couple sessions I noticed that they spend the majority of their time in their van. They walk around your house for all of 5 min spraying something before they take pictures and leave. They'll send you a report with pictures and you'd think they did 8+ hours of work and not less than 10 going off their description of what was done. I really found out what I got myself into when I went to cancel my contract because I was sick of the $199 charges. I realized how much of this company is backed by manipulative sales tactics and pressuring people into contracts (especially introverts) The icing on the cake was when I went to cancel and was hit with a $199 cancelation fee but I had enough of the bs and decided paying $199 to cancel was a better value than allowing them to come over and do their supposed job. The lady on the phone even agreed with me that the deceptive language told to me was wrong. Since canceling and telling them I'm never likely to ever do business with them I still constantly get mailers from them. Stay away from these guys! P.S. The first red flag I should've listened to was when the salesman told me he just got done servicing a neighbors yard (found out it was a total lie) The second red flag I should've listened to was when the salesman started bragging about how proud he was about his companies 5 star review. It came across as weird and something the higher ups probably force their salesman to say. The third red flag I should've listened to was when I said I wanted to read the contract 1st so if they could send it in the mail I'll get back to them and he insisted I sign today and pressured me into signing. All in all I'd say the only good thing that came from my experience with Aptive is that it taught me to never trust door to door salesman. I no longer give these kind of people/companies the time of day and I don't feel bad or care anymore.
