I give Bee Friendly Apiary my highest recommendation. This was my second time calling Bill for his services. The first time was for an outdoor removal at my place of work several years ago. Today Bill came to my residence and removed honeybees that had made a home in a wall cavity. Both times he did an outstanding job. After removing the bees from the wall cavity from inside my residence (bathroom wall), Bill patched the wall and sealed up the areas outside where the bees were gaining access. I had a tricky situation with a bald faced hornet nest in a high traffic area. Because they are native, I really wanted an option that didn't involve killing them if at all possible, but it was difficult to find anyone who could offer any solution other than a chemical one. Enter Bill of Bee Friendly Apiary. Bill was incredibly generous with his time when I called, explaining the difficulties of relocating a nest like this. We settled on him coming out to vacuum them and destroy the nest for safety reasons, which at least was a non-chemical option that wouldn't affect other pollinators, but he ended up being able to trim the branch the nest was on and take it with him in the hopes that the juveniles/queen will recover. While here he was again so generous with his time, answering my many questions patiently. Bill is incredibly knowledge, his fee was very reasonable, and he's overall just an incredibly nice guy. I cannot recommend him highly enough and will definitely reach out to him in the future if his services are needed.

I highly recommend Bill Castro. He came to my house two hours after I called him to assess my bee situation. He is professional and does excellent work. He is knowledgeable about honeybees and cares about them. I would work with him again.

I contacted Bill for a honey bee hive that was under my tin roof and on top of the supporting wooden framework. After reviewing the location, Bill stated the critters were yellow jackets. Seeing that they were 15 feet off the ground and were not bothering us, he said in lieu of removing the hive I could just wait for the first frost and the hive would die. At that point, I could just caulk the area to ensure they do not return next year. I appreciated this solution instead of having to open a small area in the ceiling for removal.
