I just want to leave here a fair warning for anybody: if you bring an animal, and they take it, regardless if they can take care of it or not - the animal will never be released ( so they will put them to sleep), and that they will not tell you beforehand. They also can only take care of animals that are over certain weight ( mysterious number that no one will tell you). But they will not give this animal back to you even if you are willing to give it a chance and try to nurse it. Why even bother bringing the animals here?

My wife found a starling that had been injured by a car so we brought it here to try and save its life. Unfortunately the bird disnt make it but they tried and it was easy to follow up and check on the bird to see if it was going to survive

I have called this organization twice for help. Once was for figuring out if the turtle that randomly showed up in my backyard was okay to be there or if he needed to go somewhere else. They asked me to send in a photo of the turtle and then promptly informed me that it was a “she” and that she was a box turtle and that she was ok where she was. The second time was for helping rescue a baby squirrel I found laying next to his dead mama. It was very sad. So I called them and they came and picked the sweet baby up. A great organization.

Called about finding a baby bird. They answered the phone right away and gave me some great advice on what to do.

Absolutely amazing! I found a little Gosling and I had no idea what to do. City Wildlife was so responsive, helpful, and kind. They were able to take care of the Gosling and found him a Goose family to take him in! He now has a momma and 5 siblings! 🥹 Highly recommend if you find an animal that needs your help! Thank you City Wildlife for all that you do!
