What can I say. Critters has been a staple for many years. Great selection of fish, retires, and birds. Amazing service👏👏

Was super excited at first to see their wide variety of fish but as I walked around the shop I got really sad at how overstocked all the enclosures were. The Betta fish were in even smaller cups than other pet stores and the sorority Betta tank had ragged fish and even one dead fish, the rabbits were in cages that were WAY too small for let alone one rabbit and yet there were 3-4 per cage 😩, the sulcata tortoise enclosure was way too small and had too many tortoises all together, the rats literally had no space they were all on top of each other, the kittens and ferrets enclosures were dirty...like it was so sad.

I was looking for a place and hoping it's not this. The animals were overcrowded, in improper setups, the beardies were fed romaine lettuce (ie basically just water), and the enclosures wreaked of feces. I would never get an animal from here.

They have little to zero experience taking care of reptiles. Every single reptile shows signs of stuck shed or dehydration. I attached a photo of a snake that appears very unhealthy. It’s got signs of a foaming mouth and it doesn’t show any sign of breathing. I tried moving my finger around to see if it was responsive but it showed zero signs of life. They had three very large pythons stuck in a cage with mesh (horrible to keep humidity and heat) and every snake within it looks to be dead. Horrible store and I hope nobody buys a single reptile from them. Buy from a reptile expo or morph market instead of these people.

Best place to get supplies and if you complain about the size of the store, just know this, you don't need a vast amount of space when your purchasing the perfect products to sell already. I've never gotten crap product once and when low or out of stock they inform you of when more is coming because they care about your pets/ family as well, and my familys healthy because of the products they believe in.
