As a healthcare worker, I am appalled at how the staff at this pharmacy treats their customers. I have needed to use this pharmacy not only as a customer, but also as a medical professional calling from a providers office. The staff is extremely rude and impersonal. In person, the line to pick up medication is always 5-10 people deep. Then when you get to the counter, they tell you it's going to be another 30 minutes. EVERY TIME. They obviously DO NOT CARE about making you sit and wait there with an illness, or if you have a unwell child on your hands. Their prices are also significantly higher than other local pharmacies. I do not use CVS anymore, however, I was forced to use this location during an unfortunate circumstance when I had a sick child that needed medication urgently. Our regular pharmacy had already closed for the evening. There is a reason this pharmacy has an overall 1 star review from customers. Hope they go out of business.

I have unfortunately used the CVS pharmacy for a year . I have given them many chances to redeem themselves and they just seem to get worse and worse every time. This review is a year in the making There is always a 10 person line. Doesn't matter what time of day you go. There is 1 cashier and they take forever to find your stuff. Could a 2nd person ring people out? Their answer is always no. I have an injection medicine. I need syringes to go with the medicine. Both were prescribed by my doctor at the same time in the same order. I get the medication but not the needles. When told that there are needles that go with the medication, they tell me those weren't on the order. I call their lie out by showing them a copy of the order from the doctor. They tell me I am lying and need to confirm with the doctor and that I will have to leave and come back. I said this screw up is your fault not mine, I need this taken care of now. An hour went by and they never called the doctor. I called the doctor myself and had him call the pharmacy to rectify the situation. They never picked up the phone. For a year I can't get the needles with the medicine. They tell me that my doctor should put them on the same prescription. When I once again show them a copy of the prescription order form, they tell me that that isn't the form they have. I ask them to show me the form they have, they hide behind rules saying they can't show me that. One year 1 gave them to fix things. I now drive 5 miles more just to pick up a simple med somewhere else

Wish this location had more options for merch— drinks snacks, makeup, medications etc. The pharmacy is ok. Line at busy times like every other CVS or Walgreens.

I read all of these one star reviews and was really expecting a negative experience at this CVS. However the medication I was picking up wasn't available through the Walmart Pharmacy so I headed over. There were maybe two people in line ahead of me and it moved fast. The lady at the register, Kerri, was friendly and helpful and the medication of which there is a shortage currently was ready and waiting for me. Great experience.

This is the first negative review I have ever written and posted. I have thought about posting this for many years, but never did so because I try to keep my reviews for positive things. After being a customer of the Whitinsville CVS for over five years (not by choice, but because of coverage) I feel an obligation to post this review for all potential customers. It is impossible to speak to someone at CVS pharmacy by phone, you have to leave a voicemail to be called back. CVS does not care about the customer whatsoever. Almost every time I have to go to the pharmacy here, I get a horrible knot in my gut and I feel sick just dealing with the employees here. I was able to almost completely "fire" CVS as my pharmacy with the exception of a few things that I HAVE to purchase here due to insurance. Many times I have to call them multiple times throughout the day for multiple days to finally get something successfully filled. When I am able to speak to someone, they are in a rush, they are very rude, and they have no desire to answer question or to be friendly. Today was no exception, even though I called and spoke to the pharmacist, I was spoken down to as if I were a pest to them. I would not speak to a dog the way they speak to customers here. When I go in to try to either pick up a prescription or request something be filled, I am treated like I am bothering them because I'm there. They treat customers rudely and disrespectfully. God forbid that you have any questions, your questions will be treated as an annoyance. If you don't HAVE to come here, find another pharmacy. I have been so much happier since I "fired" CVS and moved on. When I do HAVE to come here, I make it as fast as I can and exit out as fast as I can. The Pharmacists are miserable and that trickles down to the employees. I make sure everything is correctly ordered before I go and I pray that I never have to go back there. If you can, avoid this place like the PLAGUE. If you don't HAVE to get things filled with CVS, go to a different pharmacy. Maybe if enough people don't come back here, this place will someday go away. Run as far from this place as fast as you can if you don't have to go here.
