Jake is our service technician. He has been with us for a few years. He definitely takes pride in his work and is thorough in completion and explanation. At the start and end of each visit, he communicates well with us and confirms that we understand his concerns if any. He is welcome to suggestions that we may have and addresses them properly. He is prompt and a very nice person.

We have been with Econex for a little over 10 years. Our service technician Jake is thorough, professional, and very knowledgeable. We trust him explicitly and value his continuing service at our residence monthly. We have peace of mind that our home is free of pests. For after all, we don’t like being bugged!

Beware! Do not do business with Econex! Terrible customer service! Have been a customer since 2009 when it was called Barrett and then they sold to “Scout” who later sold to Econex. You used to be able to call the office and someone would answer and you could reschedule or ask for additional service. Over the last six to eight months now all calls go to voicemail and no one returns them. The web site portal is useless and you cannot reschedule anything on line or chat with anyone. I’ll be going over to their office in Anaheim and cancelling my service and go with another pest control company.

I have been using Econex since 2019, but the service has been declining. I used to have the same technician every time, but after he left, a different technician shows up on each visit. The technicians don’t seem very experienced, as they only spend about 10 minutes spraying the perimeter of my home. We have many spider webs around, yet they never take the time to de-web them. And I need to keep reminding them to check the bait stations and glue traps. Additionally, they introduced a new policy requiring customers to leave their property for two to three hours during interior treatments. I was never informed about this. When I mentioned it to one of the technicians during a visit, they said they couldn’t proceed and that I would need to call the office. I’ve been trying to reach them all month, but they never answer or return my calls. I have already paid for the service, but it remains unfinished. Is this company a scam?

Jake always takes excellent care of our pest control needs, and he's always prompt, friendly and thorough. I know that if we ever have any issues between services, he's happy to come by and treat the issue! I would recommend Jake and Econex to anyone looking for pest control services.
