We have been going to Glyndon Gardens since we moved to the area in 1993. We have bought all our srubbery and plants from them. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have a great warranty on their plants. For the first time ever I had one of my plants not make it after planting it this summer. It was a very finicky conifer that doesn’t like clay soil. Richard has been great helping me out with this plant and others. He is a wealth of knowledge and so helpful. I very much appreciate his help! Highly recommend Glyndon Gardens for your gardening needs We are also happy either the 1/2 chord of wood we purchased last month.

I recently purchased 3 cords of firewood. This was the 3rd and last time. When I stacked it more than 50% was Tulip. Not hardwood! In addition, one doesn't know what what delivered until after it's stacked. I didn't call to complain because what was the point. They were not going to come back, take it away and refund my money. Also I felt they would get defensive and escalate and blame the messenger, me. The bottom line is DO NOT PURCHASE FIREWOOD from Glyndon Gardens especially if you expect to get hardwood. Very disappointed is putting it mildly.

Front desk staff is rude and unkind. Came out yelling at me when I was stopped in a dump trailer to pay for topsoil. Spent lots of money on their overpriced aggregate over the years. No more. Hollins is cheaper and kinder. The other negative reviews here and the owner’s own feedback speaks for itself.

This was originally going to be a lower rating than 5 stars. There was some miscommunication with the folks there about a delivery of rocks. After not getting them when I was originally told I would, the manager, Kevin I believe, took it upon himself, had the truck loaded and delivered the product within 20 minutes of me phoning. Fantastic customer service right there. Thanks and we will be back again for more product.

Great interaction with associate at the desk ordering 2.5 yards of rocks. My man explained the width of the alley (16 feet) and asked them to deliver using the smaller truck. Ok, the assistant noted the record and explained to us that truck held 3 yards worth or rocks. Fine, small enough (we thought). Long story short. The driver allegedly could not back the truck up to our yard let alone the "box", proceeded to dump 2.5 yards of rock in the center of the alley. I called the store to ask questions. The CSR was great in store when we purchased and made the arrangements, boy did that quickly change, she replied " I don't know what else could have been done". I was calling to find out protocal. We could have very well used a local delivery company with a bobcat or smaller truck. My man stated he was not given an option of returning the rocks. So, no choice but to get to shoveling. Thanks, you made a fun project turn into back breaking work, unnecessarily.
