Golden Rule services are top notch. Chris came to the house and was very thorough and detail oriented. He even cleaned my daughter’s little playhouse. If you are looking for great service at a reasonable price give them a call.

Today, GoldenRule pest control lost my business in the worst way. See, a few months ago i had a great conversation with a man named Brent, who kindly explained to me what their services entail and what the cost would look like, he followed up with a quote for the exact services inquired for and looked forward to putting me on his schedule. As i always do, i checked around and discussed other options with my wife over the last few months and ultimately had dropped the ball on getting this done completely until this morning. It was time to pull the trigger, my wife wanted to use a different locally owned small company with a lower price point, i on the other hand was sold by Brents professional attitude and was dead set on paying more money to use GoldenRule. But upon calling up to the office to follow up and get it going i was met with a young lady that explained to me that now someone would have to go to my house and "inspect" it before a quote could be given. I told her that i already had a quote but it didnt seem to make a difference. I then explained that i didnt want to have to take time off work on two separate occasions in order to get this done, and that i wanted to move forward with the services offered in the quote. Still she could not set up an appointment so that was it, conversation over. Now, while i am still convinced that they would have done a great job, the additional cost of taking off work makes their service unaffordable. I could understand the need for inspection if i as looking for something particular like an infestation of roaches or bed bugs or something. But this is just general pest control and prevention. The 1 star is for Brent. But Brent, Why did you give me a quote if company policy states that you have to do an inspection first? Is this a new policy? Why is it so hard to use GoldenRule? I dont know. But my very next phone call was to the person my wife wanted to use and they will be performing the work this afternoon, for less, and with no need for me to take any time away from my job.
