I would love to not need a pest control company, but I live in Florida, so bugs happen. After hiring a few, we finally resorted to DIY because it seemed like nothing improved after visits from other companies we hired. But, Florida is a little too much for DIY and I was waking up too often to a dead overnight visitor 🪳 Hillsboro Pest Control is in the neighborhood so our hope when we called was that we would find great, family owned company that would adopt us and treat our home like it was theirs. Pipe dream, right? Wrong! Nunes (the patriarch) came to our house and spent so much time, first listening to our concerns, then spraying throughly throughout the house and then the exterior. And very unlike past companies visits, there was ALOT of (ahem) evidence that what they do *works*! As Palmetto bugs and their cousins freak me out, that part was a little traumatic, but careful what you wish for right? We have subscribed for bimonthly exterior service moving forward, which Nunes is confident will be sufficient for our needs. I can’t recommend them more highly. If you need a trustworthy pest company who will take care of you like family, call them ASAP!

We’ve had a corporate chain company doing our service for years and I feel foolish for not seeking him sooner. Came out same day and spent a lot of time researching our issues. Mr. Nunez really is as great as all the other reviews that led me to him say he is. We have been working with him for a few months now and he has always been professional and dependable. He always asks if everything is going okay and immediately addresses any concerns I have. His prices are more then fair and he is willing to stop by in between services if I need him. It is hard to find nice people to work with, so if you have any pest control issues or need a company for routine maintenance just know that you will not be disappointed with his service.
