We had a bird stuck in the dryer vent which was first removed. John was proactive and honest with helping us with this issue - he put a metal guard on the vent to close it. John was quick and got the job done!

10/10 They were so fast and professional, would highly recommended them to anyone. We had a squirrel in the attic that needed to be removed and they handled the situation well and sealed up the hole so now more squirrels can get in

John handled my call quickly, however, the situation was handled horribly. The tech came out to remove birds from our second story vent because they were causing bird mites to enter our bedroom. He used a stick with nails on it to pull the nesting out of the vent; they charge a fee for the techs to "set up" their very fancy equipment. There are still birds in the vent, no surprise there, and after calling a separate company, we find they are even harder to remove now that the nest is gone because they retreat further into the vent. After wasting $335 dollars and getting zero relief, we now have to call, and PAY, another company who tells us this is typical of MidAtlantic and knew it was them before I even told him the name of the company. Needless to say we are not happy and we still have birds and bird mites. The photos are of the amount of nesting and a dead bird that the other company pulled out this morning so, as you can see, MidAtlantic didn't do anything at all.

I have had MidAtlantic Wildlife Control come out twice to deal with racoons in my attic. Last year they installed one way cages on 2 broken-into vents out of the 3 in my attic. They had recommended installing a 3rd cage on the 3rd vent that hadn't been broken into, but I unwisely said no. They came out this year to install the 3rd cage on my now broken-into 3rd vent. They have been great both times they came out. John is very honest and will suggest only what is needed to fix the problem, which I found to be rare among many wildlife/pest control companies I have called. His prices are very reasonable as well.

Mid-Atlantic Wildlife Control deserves every bit of this 5-star review and more. I had a wildlife emergency when a starling got trapped in an incredibly hard-to-reach wall between my bathroom and laundry room. I frantically called around and the earliest someone could come out was days away, but once I tried Mid-Atlantic Wildlife Control, John was quick to take the issue seriously and promised to get someone out within hours. He was fantastic at communicating and keeping me up-to-date- none of the “we’ll be there sometime in the next two business weeks” nonsense. Even after traveling hundreds of miles that day, he and a team-member made time to show up that afternoon, even though they had been given such little notice. They were calm, professional, and ready to help. Their level of expertise was immediately clear, and they showed the utmost amount of respect and care for my home. We couldn’t hear the bird when they got there, and suspected it happened to find its way out (or taken up a quieter hobby) so John took the time to show me all the woodpecker holes the birds had come in through and make a plan to have someone come address them in the morning, installing a one-way door in the meantime. He explained everything he was doing and why, and on top of that, gave me incredibly useful advice for the near future and referrals for siding work. It was clear they weren’t out to upsell or overcharge me—in fact, they could have easily charged for placing vents or installing woodpecker deterrents, but instead, he offered practical and honest guidance. And then—plot twist—as they were pulling away, I suddenly heard scratching from inside the wall again. The bird was still in there. I flagged them down like a madwoman, and without hesitation, John jumped back into action. He worked in the tightest, most awkward space, and triumphantly emerged holding a very ticked-off starling, releasing it into the woods. They showed real compassion and care for the animal. John followed up the next morning when his colleague Clay arrived as planned, right on time. Overnight, I heard MORE scratching, and it turned out that though there was one bird in the hand, there was yet another in the wall. Clay not only fished this final starling out but took the time to patch extra woodpecker holes he had found while working. They didn’t just solve the immediate issue—they followed up with thoughtful attention to detail. I also want to highlight something that really mattered to me: as a woman, I’ve often found that working with contractors can be frustrating—it's not uncommon to be dismissed, talked down to, or upcharged under the assumption that I don’t know any better. There's also the discomfort of having unfamiliar men in your home—something many professionals don’t even think about. That’s why I was so impressed with the team from Mid-Atlantic Wildlife Control. All three men I interacted with were respectful, made eye contact, listened to what I had to say, and—most importantly—treated me like a capable adult. Their professionalism and courtesy stood out in the best way. This is the kind of integrity that’s rare to find. I truly can’t recommend Mid-Atlantic Wildlife Control enough!
