Normally I would have nothing but good things to say about NBAC, but this last time saddened me. I realize they may have been very busy attending to other calls, or maybe it wasn't a big deal, because it was just a seagul. I don't know. I noticed an injured, terrified one in the middle of the highway. Maybe it was just a matter of time before it got killed. I called them, but I wasn't going to wait. I literally parked, and could have got myself killed, because it was still alive. I ran to save this poor animal, but it already got hit. They didn't show up until about 45 minutes later to clean up the mess. It ruined my whole day.

I couldn’t thank Animal Control enough for bringing home my African Grey Parrot. She was missing for less than 24 hours and they brought her safely back to me. Without the help of ACO and New Bedford guide for posting my lost parrot, she probably wouldn’t be home right now. Thank you!

Found an 11 week old kitten with a broken leg outside my house. I called animal control but no answer. Some rude man gets back to me 3 hours later questioning why I didn't call earlier.... I did buddy 5 plus times. I explained to him that I called the non emergency number to have the police pickup the cat. He then says they will euthanize the cat because no one's gonna pay for the leg.... the city usually pays but I guess not with scumbags like this in charge

Animal Control went into my families house took all our puppies and the mother of the puppies with no permission, we and much more of our family and friends have been trying to contact MANNY which is the person that takes care of everything at animal control. He took 2 weeks to get back to us and now is making up so many stories,and will not give us back our dog or puppies. All those puppies have homes and families that are so divestated that they cannot get there puppy, there children were waiting for there puppy to come home and you MANNY took that all away this is the most outrageous thing that you could do. I have heard so many bad things about you that this is what you like to do!!! Now those puppies r locked up in a cage day and night with no family no place to run and play THAT IS ANIMAL CRULETY!!!
