I paid 275 dollars to catch a ground hog. He caught a raccoon that was stuck on his back in the pouring rain. He advertises 24/7. It took 2 hours for him to respond. Another hour to get here. With a animal clearly in distress. All in all maybe 15 minutes of work. He wants another 85 dollars to set the trap again. If I thought for a second this man had any integrity or honesty I would pay. I would'nt trust him to catch and release any further than I could throw him. He was awful. His attitude toward a trapped animal was no better than a fly or a ant. Please find a honest man.

Posted for my mother as she doesn't have an account on Google. "Last September I paid Northern Illinois Wildlife Removal and Repair ( Jeff Gorham) to seal my house, because I had bats in the attic. This Spring I have the same problem with bats. I called him on June 6th. He said he would get back to me in two days. He did not. I called and left messages on June 12th and 16th. He has never returned my calls. On June 26th I filed a complaint with Better Business Bureau. Again there was no response. Obviously this man does not stand behind his work." Edit. Look in your records for an M. Blake. Also, you never responded to the BBB inquiry into this issue.

I called Jeff about bats in the attic. He responded the same day and came out for a evaluation with in 2 day’s. Told me exactly what he would do and what should happened. He was right on about everything. Also I think the price was more than fair. Great Job Jeff.

My home has (HAD!) a snake problem. Snakes IN the house. Live and let live, but not when they are inside. I’ve also had one bat since owning the house for 2 years. After a reasonably priced inspection by this company, they were able to see all the trouble spots what would allow snake, etc. in. They then were able to “seal” my entire house to ward against snakes...with the bonus of warding against mice and bats. They were able to ascertain that there were basically “holes” in my house. So much so that the gentleman could almost put his hand into my basement from the outside. Shock to me! How this got by home inspection is anyone’s guess. However, I can VERY HAPPILY say that after a snake almost every other day in the basement (some 2’ plus), I have had ZERO. NADA. NOTHING. Not in the house at least. I haven’t even seen one outside to be honest. We are so very hopeful that this is the end to our stress and fear. I have to tell you, that what was once was a daily worry and stressor, is now a faint memory. I don’t even think about it anymore. I’m free from the tyranny of the snake! Thank you guys. You improved the quality of my life ten-fold!!!! (P.S. Yes, I tried everything else in the world from moth balls to garlic spray. This is what worked!)

I thought I had bats in the attic of my house. I contacted Jeff at Northern Illinois Wildlife Removal and Repair. He asked about the sound, and when I told him, he explained it was raccoons, not bats. He came out within the hour, and told me that the raccoons had made a hole in the roof. This solved a different puzzle. Water had been coming into my kitchen when it rained, and I had assumed it was coming from a hole in the eaves, but could not find it. Jeff had found the source - the hole in the roof. He set a trap on the roof. The next night, I heard a terrible racket, and went outside. The trap was empty, but the vent in the eaves was hanging down, and was terribly twisted. I called Jeff at 7:30 the next morning, and he appeared by 8:30, fixed the vent, and re-set the trap. That night, at 10:58 I heard a large thump on the roof. I went out with my flashlight, and the light caught a pair of eyes, with a raccoon caught in the trap. I called Jeff at 7:30 the next morning, and he came out within the hour, put a new patch on the hole in the roof, caulked around the patch, and took the raccoon away. He is great at explaining what he is doing, and what each step will be. If I have any additional problems with wildlife, I will certainly call him.
