Beatrice was fabulous! She found 4 places where rodents could enter my home and volunteered that she also does mosquito control and noted a drain in the front of my house where there was standing water. They provide a great service to the community. I needed some mosquito fish to clean up the larvae from a recent rain pour. So I came in, fill out a form and picked up a bag. They also provide other functions critical to the health and well being of the local community. Thanks for the service!

I have had mixed experiences with them based on who you talk to. The first time I assumed we had Aeges (invasive) mosquitos based on the ankle bites, they sent someone out who was very interested and said that he would need an actual specimen to confirm before updating the maps and doing an aggressive neighbor campaign. A couple of months later (today), I submitted a form through the website letting them know I caught one of these black and white striped mosquitoes, and had it ready for them to come verify. The person who called me was completely disinterested in obtaining the specimen, and kept asking what I wanted them to do for me. They are either no longer are interested in tracking these invasive mosquitoes, or the interest level varies by employee.

I called them in the past and they don’t do anything. My family had a large mosquito with them coming inside the house. The mosquitos were clearly coming from outside. I called them and they said we’re on our own since inside is our own responsibility.

These guys are great. They come to my house and maintain the rat bait stations around my back yard fence for free. Living next to a large open area means we get lots of these (and other) pests wandering into our yard.
