I Have used Pest Genie at multiple apartment communities that we manage. Great service is always provided from all the techs.

Pest Genie is contracted by my complex in Troy. We have lived here nearly 5 years and saw roaches in our kitchen. They treated our next door neighbor's units and not ours and roaches moved into our apartment. We had to wait five whole days for treatment. They put out sticky traps, and we were unsure of else they did. The note they left declaring their presence in the unit was completely blank and unchecked. I left a note AT THE UNIT ENTRANCE about the problem areas (kitchen and main bathroom), and explained what we did while waiting for treatment. Came home to find that they only were in the kitchen and did nothing for the bathroom when I explicitly requested that room also be treated. We had to call and follow up to find out exactly what they did. Someone WAS nice enough to explain and offered to come back out, but I don't believe we should have had to do that.

Pest Genie has come to my apartment unit at Foxpointe in Pontiac 5 times now over the past 3-4 months and I am still seeing 1-2 cockroaches a day. All they do is leave traps on the ground and do not exterminate. They also only did my kitchen and not my bathroom. Also, they had me remove everything from the kitchen and bathroom within a 2 day notice. This took me several hours to do. Also the lack of transparency from Pest Genie for what they are even doing is alarming. All they do is ask me to move all my stuff, then put traps down -- from what I am seeing. Not sure if the lack of transparency is from my complex management or Pest Genie, but both have done an awful job and this unit is unlivable.

I have used them several times. For a rental property I used their national competition as I didn't know Pest Genie covered that area, ended up firing their competitor, and when Pest Genie followed up they solved in one visit what the competition wanted to treat as an ongoing issue...
