Could not recommend Pillar to Post enough. We arrived exactly on time and Rob was already there, setting up for external pictures and drone footage of the roof. He was incredibly kind and easy to work with, and went above and beyond simply because we "made it easy to be nice." He answered every question thoroughly and respectfully (no matter how stupid), making our first time buying experience easy. Even when he could not answer some of our questions, he made his best efforts to point us in the right direction to someone who could. Rob was incredibly professional and thorough, spending over 4 hours looking over every room, nook, and cranny of the 1,500 sq ft. house. He even went back after taking the interior 360 photos (the last step before leaving) based on a small shimmer he noticed in the basement floor, and ended up spotting a hard to find basement leak. In a world where it can be very difficult to determine which mostly-five-star-review home inspection company to trust, Rob took every effort to earn our trust and keep it. As another reviewer said, Rob is definitely coming over to have dinner once we move in!

Had a potential buyer use this inspection company, inspector Robert K. When I entered my home after the inspection, they left quite the mess and damage to the property. Also the inspection itself was lacking. Multiple items where the inspector couldn’t figure out how to work something, so just notated that it wasn’t functioning. For example, stated portable dishwasher wasn’t functioning, he didn’t even plug it in. Attic insulation was left hanging out of attic door, all over the closet and room, and down the hall through the kitchen (including walking it into the hallway rug). A baby gate blocking the fireplace was just pulled out of the wall, leaving the screws hanging , instead of simply unlatching the gate. Outside gate panel was bent away from the home instead of being lifted out and put back. Bathroom cabinet door was left off center and hinge bent, clearly someone used the cabinet door to assist in getting up or down off of the floor. Furniture was pulled away from walls and just left in the middle of the room. Outlet cover was broken during inspection, but then noted in the inspection as being damaged and needing to be replaced. Definitely wouldn’t recommend to buyers or realtors.
