We have been customers with R&D Pest control for many years. When one of the founders came to our door to discuss pest-control, I was interested. We had another well known pest control company, but I was not particularly thrilled with the service. When I spoke with R&D, I was told that the company was founded by an entomologist (insect expert) and a chemist. That alone impressed me. We then started discussing the services. I really appreciate that they use a non-toxic (to humans and pets) spray and that they don't use a truck mounted rig with a long hose. The reason is that long hose from the other providers would sometimes damage plants. R&D technicians have backpack mounted spray device. We went with the "targeted pet control" which is designed to keep bugs out of your home, but not necessarily eliminate them in the yard. They have other options depending on what you want to pay and the level of control you need. At that time, we also discussed gophers and they were one of the few companies in the county licensed to do gopher burrow fumigation. Unfortunately, that Service is no longer available due to changes in federal regulations. Still I was impressed and it was, at the time, a very effective gopher control. Ever since we've been using R&D Pest control, we have never had a single ant in the home. They check for black widows and deal with them. They even have a long duster device to take care of spiderwebs. If there are special instructions you need to provide, those will go on your account and your technician will make sure to follow them. Their technicians go through a thorough training process, not only in pest control and chemical management, but also customer service. I cannot say the same of some other large corporate pest control companies we've used in the past. Those companies seem to hire teenagers who believe in the "spray and pray" method. I much prefer the way R&D does it, which is to find the pests, eliminate the nest, and then provide a protective barrier around the home. This way, beneficial insects in your yard can stick around and still do their job. R&D has experienced very good growth and they now have a online portal where you can check on your account and set up automatic payment or make payments as you desire. You can also use the portal to communicate with the staff and they also have email. If you call, you will talk with some of the friendliest people I've ever spoken with. I recently spoke with R&D about some changes I wanted and they were, as always, super helpful. I'm surprised I have not written a review by now. So here it is. If you need pest control in terms of ants, spiders, mice and other household pests, I'm confident you will be pleased with R&D's Service and competitive price.

I used another company for many, many years and their rates were skyrocketing. I couldn't afford it any longer. My neighbor recommended R&D and they have been great!! Issiah texts or calls to let me know he's coming so I don't let our dog out for a couple of hours. I also had some issues inside and I got a call back right away. They have been great to work with so far and very cost effective for regular service.

We have used R&D Pest Services for over 15 years for our ant problem. We have the exterior of the house treated annually and it has always been effective and long lasting. Recently we had them at our home again for ants and Cezar, their technician, was absolutely wonderful. He was professional,, polite and very pleasant and did a thorough job. In fact, he went above and beyond. R&D has a great employee there and we will be requesting Cezar the next time we call them for an appointment.

We started using Dave at R&D after having more ants and spiders than I care for in the house! Dave is also super responsive and knowledgeable and if I have a problem comes the next day. I love the peace of mind that I can always call him and also really appreciate that I am no longer seeing ants and spiders in my home! Great service, good value and great customer service!
