$75 for this inspection: Due to a creepy scratching sound in my walls, called Salvant for a pest/wildlife consult. On attic survey, the area in question is about 20 feet across the insulated covered beams. The inspector “is not allowed to traverse the beams; could fall through ceiling, but there is no evidence of droppings here on the landing 20’ from the sound.” Go outside and he notices where previous owner has foam patch under planking and claims this is the hole. Didn’t inspect the remaining plank perimeter of the house. Gave me a $500 quote to poison said rodent infestation (cannot do anything from the inside; will try to lure them out thru the hole) and then seal hole and then $45 monthly exterior bait. THIS COST $75? Could have spent the money on my own exterior bait. Thanks for nothing, including no confirmation of what’s actually in my walls/attic. Sleeping in spare bedroom because… UUUUGGGG!!!!
