Sorry for taking so long to post. Finally got to meet Dan after 3 years on the phone. Dan is a real pleasure to get to know. His honey is wonderful. So much better than store bought.

Dan is one of the most genuine people my wife and I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. We stopped in randomly this afternoon as we are amateur beekeepers and enjoy checking out the local beekeeper shops (as there are very few of them) and we ended up sitting down and talking to Dan for a couple of hours. His enthusiasm for bees and beekeeping is beyond evident in the way that he speaks and he was kind enough to give us a ton of knowledge that will be invaluable in our journey as novice beekeepers. He had incredible stories and insight and above all else, was very kind and patient with us. We purchased a NUC that will be picking up later this spring but we look forward to many more conversations with Dan in the future. If you're in the area, please do yourself a favor and stop by his store. His only ask is that you call him first to make sure he's available.

Stopped in for the first time to see what they had in inventory. Had a really great conversation with Dan. He was very busy, but he took time to answer my questions and give me some advice. Great service and great prices. Will buy from him again in the future!

Greatest place for all yer bee needs in Brighton. The owners friendly, positive and very helpful. Get yer local honey here as well. I highly recommend this outfit and I'm certain you won't be disappointed with yer visit indeed there's the very chance that you'll come away with more knowledge of everything "bee" than you had before arriving so ya, it goes without saying, give the bee keepers den a try. It's a fun place and you may pick up a new hobby in the process. So make a "beeline" and see for yourself😁. Ok now here's an edit. . Now, there's a surprising number of possibilities with bee keeping and the whole bee thing so naturally one may reason that there be as many if not more opportunities for fulfillment. Let me explain. Beekeeping could be enjoyed as a family thing, a personal thing, or something that brings people together. There's various opportunities for financial consideration. There's the whole, " the bees are dying" thing. The environmental thing. The educational and learning opportunities are off the charts. Then the nutritional and health advantages of the by products of beekeeping can't be left out. And finally I gotta put this out that about 15 years ago I purchased a 5 gallon bucket of local honey at the flea market and unintentionally cured a lifetime of allergies and my niece cured her asthma. We literally pounded that bucket of honey and then some. I noticed for the first time in my life I wasn't getting but a sniffle the first year which I had yet to attribute to the honey however the next summer we barely sneezed twice. I realized it was all that honey and have since we confirmed this fact . So people, there's many positive reasons to visit this outfit. It's easy to get off yer couch and pay this business a visit. You ain't gonna need to work. It's cheap. But it's a good idea to come with a pocket full a loot just in case you dig? This guy's knowledge and easy way about him will certainly give you good value and a better understanding of creation. Lastly, I find that every time I've ever heard or witnessed a mind blowing occurrence, I've come away feeling a deep satisfaction so with this I highly encourage everyone to make time and it's likely you'll get yer mind blown with some fact or explanation of bees and keeping them.

Dan is the man. My wife has a fear of bees, so for her birthday I wanted to help her get a little more confidence around bees versus wasps, especially since when we dine out there seem to be a decent amount near any table we sit at in the greater Colorado area 😄 Dan was able to give us a very thorough lesson about bees and help her work through her many questions. We started in his office, got our suits and went out to see the colonies as he transported one back to his office. It was very cool and Dan was a pro throughout the entire process. We then got a bottle of the honey which was phenomenal! I highly recommend picking up some honey OR getting the full experience.
