The service person, Dylan, showed up on time, and solved the problem with one visit as I was told. I received texts when he would arrive and when finished. I was referred to TORCO from a local company who did not treat what I was needing. The first appointment I had scheduled no one called or showed up. When I texted the technician who was supposed to be there, he told me he was having trouble with the truck. Against my better judgement, I rescheduled for later in the week. He came out and looked around for free, which was great. Although no ants were seen during his visit, he said based on the pictures I had taken that I did have carpenter ants. His reasoning was that I had sawdust in my attic (it was actually insulation that had been laying there since I moved in 3 years ago). He advised that I start treatment and explained that he would spray my attic and put something along the foundation of my house and it would be a one-time treatment. I had a bad gut feeling so I told him I would wait and let him know. I had another company come out in the meantime. I was told by them that you can't treat carpenter ants unless you know where the nest is, which TORCO did not. I was also told that based on the treatment they were planning, the spray would have ruined my insulation in the attic. The tech from TORCO attempted to reschedule my appointment and I told him I would not be moving forward with treatment due to them not being honest. I did not hear from him after that, however, received automated texts about an appointment being scheduled anyway. I then received a call from John Breen trying to confirm the appointment I never agreed to and to collect payment. I returned the call and then received a text stating that there would still be an invoice since treatment was started, even though it wasn't. I provided screenshots of my texts with the technician proving treatment was not started, so I am hoping they back off and do not try to collect money for a service they did not provide.

What can I say about Torco? Not enough!! They are the standard in my opinion. In September of 2023 my life became a nightmare when my then-landlord exterminated nearby apartment units without notifying surrounding tenants. I inherited a gnarly case of bed bugs and began discarding affected items. The search for a good pest control expert began and everyone I called had different methods. Pricing was all over the place and every contractor was well over a grand with no guarantee- then I talked to Torco. John with Torco was friendly and offered me reassurance. Much like any other industry I had to call and schedule an inspection. My unit was treated the same day it was inspected and the price from Torco beat all the competition. My biggest concern- how would they treat my residence and would it harm my belongings? Torco used a solution that has excellent reviews and upon doing my research I could easily see they had experience in selecting the right method. Torco was on time, effective, and I will never call anyone except John when it comes to bug issues. After asking my then-landord to split the bill with me, to which he declined, I decided to move. Can you believe Torco went pre treated my new residence at no additional cost? I can't say enough about them. I no longer have any pest control issues and I am sleeping through the night again. If you are reading this because you have issues with any bugs at all. Stop. Call Torco. I promise you, they WILL address your concerns at a reasonable cost using effective non invasive solutions.
