Store is clean and pretty well stocked. As all Walmarts are have decent pricing… BUT they only ever half one side of the registers open. So now while I have to check myself out I also have to wait 20 mins to get to a register… and not at peak times. Do better.

Went to the Store on Sunday at 1 PM with a full cart of groceries I looked for a register with a human being and not one was found. I walked up to one of the six employees standing around talking and asked if I could have a human being ring me out as I have a full cart of groceries and not just a few items. One of the employees looked up at me and said I’m sorry we need to have these people up here at self check out. But if you wanna hang on a moment, somebody should be coming onto shift. Like what? I have to wait for someone to clock on to ring me out versus one of the six people who are chatting about their weekend to hop on a register as I have $100 worth of groceries in my cart. What happened to this store? I am not one of those people that are gonna say I’m never gonna shop at the store again cause I know that’s not true. But I hope someone reads this review and schedules more live human beings on a register for those people who don’t just have a few items. Or change your policies of not having six people chitchatting not watching if people are being honest on the self check out and having one of them jump on when it’s a busy time of the day.

Walmart has many good products at goid prices. The check out lines are long, both for a cashier and often for self serve. Some staff is helpful most just go about their business unless you flag them done, when it is clear you need assistance

Honestly, it's very uncomfortable shopping here. I usually use my Walmart pay app to pay at the self checkout and today 4 workers stood behind me to make sure I scanned every thing (7 items) and continued to ask me for my receipt although a whole crowd of people walked by with no questions asked. I don't want to say it's a race thing which I hope it's not but all I have to say is it's very uncomfortable.

My biggest gripe with the Whitinsville, MA location is that more times than not, half of the self-checkout registers are closed resulting in long lines stretching back to the produce section. Add to that the fact that only 2 manned registers are open. It can’t be short staffing because there are plenty of employees standing around in the front registers area. If it weren’t so convenient, I’d avoid that store altogether.
