I found this injured rabbit in my back yard in Verona and tried calling around for the appropriate help. Finally the police called the Wayne Animal Control and Sandy came out immediately and took him to Franklin Lakes Animal Hospital. Sandy was so pleasant and caring, what a wonderful job they do. I felt so much better knowing they were taking care of this poor wee animal. Thank God for people like Sandy and Wayne Animal Shelter.

I am highly impressed with Wayne Animal Control! Called in an injured baby goose that was left behind by the family and didn't expect anyone to come in such a timely manner. Jim spent his time looking for the baby and was able to safely contain it. He even went as far to give me a call to give an update and inform me that he was going to take it to a wildlife rehabilitator!

A big thank you this morning to Sandy and Kyle who removed a small deer carcass which had been "dropped off" in our backyard and feasted on by turkey vultures. (Ugh!) We really appreciated Sandy's friendly attitude when we called and Animal Control's prompt response!

Thanking Veronica for a quick response to an unwanted bat visitor. Traveled half an hour at night to our residence and was so professional and kind toward me and frantic wife. Removed bat humanely and followed up with results. We thank you again!🙂

A big thank you to the two lovely ladies who worked animal control today ! I need their names ? Today while our cleaning people were cleaning our home they let out our dog …His name is MARLEY ! Marley had to be out a good two hours before we noticed . Our neighbor phone us to tell us she thought she saw him down on valley road . We went to the location only to find animal control already on the search . As I flagged them down already in tears they told me they had several calls on the choc lab . They told me they were gonna head in one direction and they asked for my cell number . after awhile they called me and told me they spotted him on Andover .We meet on Andover and SURE enough Marley jumped in my truck .. Just really want to thank my neighbor for calling me , the residence of wayne for calling the animal control and the two ladies from animal control for not giving up . I can honestly say if it weren't for this wonderful service we have in town i would not be sitting next to marley right now. Thanks again from the Lane Family ..ps the cleaning service was fired
